Why Participate?
Recruitment is a time to meet new people from different backgrounds and ethnicities. It is a good opportunity for you to understand what sororities are all about and if it's right for you. The recruitment events do not cost you anything and are designed for you to get to know the sisters better and find out exactly what Chi Gamma Phi can offer you.
Why Chi Gamma Phi?
College is not just about term papers or solving equations. Chi Gamma Phi firmly believes in a well-rounded curriculum where women should be able to broaden their horizons and experience life outside of the classroom. The Chi Gamma Phi program requires members to test their abilities, make quick judgments, and expand their social and leadership skills. Through servicing the community, the women of Chi Gamma Phi develop better moral ethics and become stronger, more pronounced women in society.
A little about Chi Gamma Phi
Service to the Community
Chi Gamma Phi provides its own manual labor to many different organizations and causes throughout San Diego. It is our hope that with future classes we may organize various fundraising events to help finance the causes of worthy non-profit organizations. In due time the less fortunate in our community may benefit in every aspect of our compassion. This is our will and commitment, and through our philanthropy we feel content knowing we have directly helped make the lives of others a little better.

Chi Gamma Phi's previous services during the 2001-2002 academic year brought insight and compassion to all of its participants. Philanthropy often calls for hard work, but sometimes it involves as little as time, patience and a bit of love.
